Lets get spooky.
All hallows eve is creeping towards us and if you are a fan of horror, spooks and zombies then you are in luck. There are loads of events going on all over the county but we have picked some of our favourite local events for you to look at.
Like Zombies? Well how about learning how to create that perfect zombie look at the Gory Zombie Workshop. This is a free 2 hour workshop all you need to bring is anything to help prepare your costumes. You will get to create limbs, scars and gory wounds. The workshop takes place on Wednesday the 30th of October with sessions running from 10am-12pm and 1pm-3pm. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to book a place.
On the 31st of October Kavangh cinema in Herne bay are having a special Halloween night and will be showing the 2004 version of Dawn of the Dead. Tickets are just £4 per person or dress up as a Zombie and get in for only £3. There will be prizes for the best zombies too.
Although just after Halloween, Hampton Primary School is having a Halloween Firework Extravaganza. Gates open at 5:30pm with fireworks starting at 7pm; last admission will be 6:45pm. There will also be a fun fair, hot food and a children’s Halloween fancy dress competition. Tickets are £3 each in advance or £5 on the night. Advance tickets can be purchased from the Hippodrome, Kings Road, Herne bay.
Now for those of you who are a little bit braver, Ghost Hunt Events have loads of different events going on throughout the county. Events rage from super scary overnight ghost hunts to spooky night walks in haunted woods. Check out their website for more details. Tickets start from £10 per person.
The annual Herne Bay Zombie crawl takes place on Friday 1st of November. The night starts with everyone meeting in Herne Bay and then a crawl through the town, up to the Kings hall, where everyone then parties the night away at the zombie crawl. For more information check out their facebook page. Tickets are £5.
For those of you that like to party hard, Club Chemistry in Canterbury is having a student’s v zombie’s night on the 30th of October (please note you do not have to be a student or a zombie to attend this event). Entry price varies from night to night; last admission is 00:30am.
